Hi, I’m Priya!

I'm a graduate of Cornell University (as of December 2018) and hold a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Information Science, with a concentration in User Experience. As a designer, I aim to create inclusive, adaptable systems and processes that unlock new opportunities for my fellow humans.

I’ve served as a Product Manager at Blackstone, overseeing the Investor Portal and Compliance technologies, and at Uber, facilitating out-of-application A2P and P2P communications, integrating the Rides vertical on the Careem super-application, and, most of all, heartily enjoying the Uber Cash that employees are awarded each month.

Currently, I’m indulging in personal pursuits, having temporarily exited the workforce with medical motivations.

I’ve learned about my ethics in professional relationships by establishing long-term mentorships with aspiring English-learners and building a space for diverse colleagues.
I emerged from these experiences strongly fulfilled at having empowered people outside of my daily sphere to satisfy their needs and chase their wants.

Above all, I am a champion of generating visibility and sharing knowledge wherever possible, especially for subgroups that face barriers to information access.
By augmenting our curiosity, awareness, and collaboration, I believe that we are bettering our world.
Who doesn’t want that? 🙂

The Winds of Life™️ have deposited me in New York and Maryland in recent years.
I have pride both in my 1 celebrity sighting in NYC (thank you, Andrew Garfield) as well as my family’s immeasurable love and support in the aftermath of a severe accident.

I have a 6-year-old German Shepherd “puppy,” Yoshi, who is a thief. He steals hearts wherever he goes!
The mascot of the self-taught, Yoshi dropped out of doggie school and went on to make a fortune in tennis balls and chew sticks.

The New York Puzzle Company is a reluctant sponsor of my delayed responses in the Winter months.
I remind myself that I’ve completed >1 1,000-piece puzzle when motivation is scarce.

I love to travel —preferably via aircraft, but at times, via books/movies.
Family in India and Sweden has been exploited to inspire trips to these beautiful, foreign lands.
So far, I’ve visited 10 countries (have yet to learn 10 world languages, though).

I’ve raised a jade bonsai, a Chinese money plant, and a third unknown variety of succulent.
My crowning achievement in botany, though, is procuring a crewneck embroidered with potted plants by a dear, creative friend.

The creation of this portfolio was made possible by the following tracks. Give them a listen to hear what my ears heard almost exclusively in Fall 2022 and Fall 2025.
